Spatula Gal,
[Does this make any sense to anyone??]
Well, that's the usual story of Kurt's past. Though I'm surprised the Marvel site (and I agree the grid is ridiculous!) didn't say something like "Kurt's been told he was tossed over the waterfall...." because the real events of his birth has never really been completely established and neither Mystique nor Margali are particularly good sources for the truth.
Umm...Since Kurt's rejoining of the XMen, the 6 month break, etc. etc. has he had a chat with Mystique? I have missed a few issues and picked up where Mystique was going to kill off humans with the virus, etc.....Did Kurt make any comments about the whole thing? It drives me nuts that there is never any contact between the two!

Nope, not a peep about Mystique that I noticed. The writers seem to ignore it and so, he ignores it too.

There was the gap and the priest mess, the Neo and then he had that breakdown and left after Colossus died so he hasn't had a whole lot of time in the limelight until his return to Uncanny last month. We'll have to see if it comes up now. I doubt it though.

Hmmm, that's what I was afraid of > http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/frown.gif
I just picked up the Uncanny today. Strange utterances from Kurt's mouth like "This is not your world, we are.".
Uh....does Kurt now think mutants shouldn't live amongst humans?

Oh, my! A few days back just before marvel launched the new site, I checked it every now and then, so I could see if they had put in a new Nighty picture... And they had! Wow!
I have seen it many times now, but I really like it more each time I see it. But... I still think his Suit (note the capital s) is the best.
I refuse to comment on that power grid, it made me upset http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/mad.gif the moment I laid my eyes upon it. I just try to forget it, but please - make marvel change it! You would remove a lot of trouble from this mind.

The Pic. Reminds me of a priest who used to attend biker events, black collar/black leather. Cool.
The power grid. Who ever came up with that spends WAY too much time sittin' on his/her @$$. Try some of the moves NC does. He is beyond a world class gymnast and his sword skills are master-class. Now while I like Wolverine (quite a lot) there is no way he is smarter, faster or more agile than Nightcrawler.
And I know how he got from the waterfall to the road side shelter. It was the world's first spontaneous BAMF!

That power grid is rediculous.
I know Nightcrawler's not the most powerful mutant on the planet, but you'd think at least ONE of his traits would break the level 5 mark...
The elf just gets no respect... http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/frown.gif

That made me reaally mad that Kurt wasnt more involved with the "Dreams End" storyline with Sen. Kelly AND MYSTIQUE.You think he'd have SOME involvement or atleast a few words. But there was nothing.Rogue was involved plenty ofcourse!
Oh I agree definately Squuee that line from Kurt irked me as well.Kurt sounds like a seperatist.almost like Magneto there!
But maybe Kurt was just being protective and knew that Jono was probably being used. But I still felt that was too harsh for Kurt.Unless he still didnt completely recover from when he flipped out over Colossus.Remember when he scared that painter and the little girl in Unlimited?Maybe hes still a little bitter. http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/confused.gif

Hey there everyone!
Well,I don't know....I suppose the death of the London Morlocks is making him see things differently http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/frown.gif. Maybe that's the cause of his outburst. Hmmmm.....
That's not so good for a seminary student.
As for Dream's End---Utterly ridiculous that he had nothing to do with the story. It would've made more sense that he went after Mystique to stop her than Remy (though I doubt he would've been out to kill her as Remy had been).
Well, whatever is going on with him, I'm thrilled he's actually playing a major part! FINALLY!

Oh, I think we see his tail wrapped around his problem when he's on the computer. Too much caffiene. It's a killer, I tell ya.
I agree though, he is acting a bit odd. He does get a bit of a mother hen complex with his teammates, but please. Hmmm...unstable elf does not bode well for anybody. Didn't somebody say he would come back as Dark Nighty? Hmmmm....

Maybe a large part of why Kurt seems to be going overboard with the 'indignation' bit is because Jono's words & actions are striking a pretty big nerve. ("They tried to kill me with a stake!") I admit though that his anger did catch me off gaurd. The attitude kinda gave me flashbacks to Ellis' Kurt from Excalibur.

DITTO! I am absolutely ecstatic over Kurt being in so much of the last two issues!
BAMF!
